Reiki Information and Programme

Reiki Course Information:

No Previous knowledge or training is required to attend the Reiki workshop. Once activated by the attunement process everyone is able to radiate this gentle, nurturing, healing energy - regardless of age, experience or background.

An attunement is a technique originally taught by Dr MiKao Usui. The technique has been handed down from master to student and enables an accredited Reiki Master who has direct lineage to Usui to pass it on.

The knowledge of Reiki is traditionally passed from master to student and is acquired in several stages - each one complete in itself:

Level 1: Enables you to heal yourself, family and friends.
Level 2: A professional qualification enabling you to purchase practitioner insurance.
Level 3 : Enables you to teach Reiki.

All courses include manuals, certificates . Affiliation to the International Reiki Healers organisation can be obtained after completing level 1.

REIKI I Information

Taught in one day with follow up support. It is based on the attunement which open you up to the Reiki energy. Once this pathway is established you are able to channel Reiki for the rest of your life using the energy for growth, self development and healing for yourself, your family and your friends.

Once you have been attuned, Reiki will flow through your hands whenever you touch with the intention of healing or helping. Once you have received the first degree attunements, you will have this ability for life.

REIKI 2 - Information

This course is taught in one day. The teachings include the Usui Sanskrit Symbols which refine, focus and maximise the energy flow. You will also be taught scanning, beaming and distant healing techniques. The second degree allows you to practise Reiki professionally, it is also very beneficial for your personal use..

The Second Degree Reiki constitutes a deeper commitment to the Reiki energy. In the Second Degree workshop you are given three sacred symbols, or keys, each having a specific function. You will receive the Power Symbol, the Mental/Emotional Symbol and the Distance Symbol.

These symbols were put into your aura during the First Degree Attunements, what happens during the Second Degree Attunements is that these symbols are brought into your conscious awareness, enabling you to have much more flexibility in your use of Reiki in healing and transformation for self and others. The keys, or symbols, help to focus your mind so that Reiki energy can be sent beyond time and space, and much more.

Once you are attuned to Reiki 2 you can work as a professional Reiki therapist and obtain an insurance . Details on how to become an affiliated member of the Reiki Healers Organisation will be given to you on the day.

Reiki 3a (Master-Practitioner ) Programme

This is a one day workshop

The Advanced Reiki Training (Level 3 A) is a one day course and is run on the Friday, the first day of the three day course (see the Usui Reiki-Master teacher course below) ,

you will receive the Master's attunement and you will be given the Master's symbol, this will amplify the channelling of your Reiki and enhances all the other symbols. This process will also enable you to further your spirital progress.

Reiki 3 -Master-Teacher Programme

This is a three day course.

The Reiki Master- Teacher degree is for those who wish to teach Reiki.

Karuna Reiki® Information

Karuna is a Sanskrit word and is used in Hinduism, Buddhism and Zen.  It is translated to mean any action that is taken to diminish the suffering of others and could also be translated as “compassionate action”.  When individuals experience enlightenment, they report that all beings are known as one.  Therefore, it is natural to extend compassionate action or Karuna to everyone without distinction because we are all one.  As we help others and aid them in their healing process, all beings benefit.

Karuna is the motivating quality of all enlightened beings who are working to end suffering on Earth.  They continually send an unlimited amount of healing energy and guidance to us, but not all are receptive to it.  As you develop Karuna in yourself, not only are you helping others, but you also become more receptive to the Karuna that is being sent by all enlightened beings.  Thus your healing is quickened.

Karuna Reiki® opens you to work more closely with all enlightened beings.  This includes those enlightened ones who are physically present as well as those in spirit

Karuna Reiki® is for those who have already been attuned to Usui Reiki level 1, 2 and 3.  The Karuna energy is noticeably stronger.  Reiki Karuna has two levels and eight symbols.  Having more symbols can be likened to a repair person who at first has only three or four tools to work with but then with increasing skill learns to work with a much larger number of tools and therefore is able to repair a wider range of problems and do it more quickly.

  • A manual issued by the International Centre for Reiki Training

Karuna Reiki® Master Training : Course Content

Same syllabus as Karuna Reiki® Level 1 & 2 but instead of receiving attunements for practitioner levels you receive :

  • Karuna Reiki® Master Level 1 attunement on first day
  • Karuna Reiki® Master Level 2 attunement on second day
  • Learn and discuss Karuna Master symbols
  • Violet Breath –Learn and Practice
  • Learn to give Karuna Reiki® Level 1, 2 and Karuna Reiki® Master attunements
  • Chanting and toning with Karuna Symbols

The Karuna Reiki® Master  attunement includes the Karuna Reiki® level 1 & level 2 symbols.  If you are already an Usui Reiki Master-teacher you can receive the Master’s attunement straight away, there is no need to take Practitioner level 1 & 2 first.
