No Previous knowledge or training is required to attend the Reiki workshop. Once activated by the attunement process everyone is able to radiate this gentle, nurturing, healing energy - regardless of age, experience or background.
An attunement is a technique originally taught by Dr MiKao Usui. The technique has been handed down from master to student and enables an accredited Reiki Master who has direct lineage to Usui to pass it on.
The knowledge of Reiki is traditionally passed from master to student and is acquired in several stages - each one complete in itself:
Level 1: Enables you to heal yourself, family and friends.
Level 2: A professional qualification enabling you to start a practice of your own and to obtain a practitioner insurance .
Level 3A: You receive the Master's attunement, this attunement will add power to your Reiki treatments , the strength of your self treatments will help you heal further , this process will increase the vibration of your energy field.
Level 3 : Enables you to teach Reiki.
All courses include manuals, certificates . You may also join the UK Reiki Federation once youhave completed the level 2.
Taught in two days with follow up support. It is based on the attunement which open you up to the Reiki energy. Once this pathway is established you are able to channel Reiki for the rest of your life using the energy for growth, self development and healing for yourself, your family and your friends.
Once you have been attuned, Reiki will flow through your hands whenever you touch with the intention of healing or helping. Once you have received the first degree attunements, you will have this ability for life.

This course is taught in two days. The teachings include the Usui Sanskrit Symbols which refine, focus and maximise the energy flow. You will also be taught scanning, beaming and distant healing techniques. The second degree allows you to practise Reiki professionally, it is also very beneficial for your personal use..
The Second Degree Reiki constitutes a deeper commitment to the Reiki energy. In the Second Degree workshop you are given three sacred symbols, or keys, each having a specific function. You will receive the Power Symbol, the Mental/Emotional Symbol and the Distance Symbol.
These symbols were put into your aura during the First Degree Attunements, what happens during the Second Degree Attunements is that these symbols are brought into your conscious awareness, enabling you to have much more flexibility in your use of Reiki in healing and transformation for self and others. The keys, or symbols, help to focus your mind so that Reiki energy can be sent beyond time and space, and much more.

Karuna Reiki Masters
Veronique is a registered teacher with the ICRT (International centre for Reiki training in the US.) This means that on completion of the Karuna Reiki Masters course you will be eligible to register and your courses will then also be accredited.
Karuna is a Sanskrit word and is used in Hinduism, Buddhism and Zen. It is translated to mean any action that is taken to diminish the suffering of others and could also be translated as “compassionate action”. When individuals experience enlightenment, they report that all beings are known as one. Therefore, it is natural to extend compassionate action or Karuna to everyone without distinction because we are all one. As we help others and aid them in their healing process, all beings benefit.
Karuna is the motivating quality of all enlightened beings who are working to end suffering on Earth. They continually send an unlimited amount of healing energy and guidance to us, but not all are receptive to it. As you develop Karuna in yourself, not only are you helping others, but you also become more receptive to the Karuna that is being sent by all enlightened beings. Thus your healing is quickened.

Karuna Reiki® is for those who have already been attuned to Usui Reiki level 1, 2 and 3. The Karuna energy is noticeably stronger. Reiki Karuna has two levels and eight symbols. Having more symbols can be likened to a repair person who at first has only three or four tools to work with but then with increasing skill learns to work with a much larger number of tools and therefore is able to repair a wider range of problems and do it more quickly.
