When you choose to attend one of our courses or workshops, you will have a chance to walk and sit within the beautiful grounds surrounding the centre. Part of our teaching includes being outdoors (weather permitting), near the trees, the river and sitting by an outside log fire. To know more please read the following:
The Awareness centre is located in the Cych valley near the town of Newcastle Emlyn. The centre is a converted water mill located deep in woodlands, and far away from traffic noises. Enjoy listening to the sounds of birds singing, the gentle flow of the river with its natural waterfalls and the rustling of the leaves.
A truly unique, relaxing and memorable experience.
Once you have been attuned to Reiki, you become very open to receiving the vibrant, nurturing energies found in nature. Here at the centre we have the perfect setting to show you and teach you how you can energise yourself by being close to a tree, a river, a fire.
We also teach you how the different phases of the moon can affect your health/vitality and how you can amplify your Reiki healing with the healing energies of the moon. |

Reiki: A safe and Natural Hands on Therapy
Reiki means "Universal Life Force". We can find life force in all living things: humans, animals, trees, plants and rocks. Life force can be found in abundance within Nature.
We gain life force by sleeping, resting, breathing, eating healthy food, drinking pure water and by doing things that gives us pleasure.
We lose this life force by working, by attending to the tasks we usually do on a daily basis, and most of our life force is lost by worrying, stressing out and living in fear.
Nowadays most people spend far more life force than they are able to regain, hence creating an energetic imbalance.
Activation of Reiki within a persons hands is made possible by a simple process called an "attunement". The attunement or empowerment is performed by a Reiki Master during a workshop. It is the attunement which allows the person to tap into and direct the Reiki energy. Without the attunement you may direct healing energy, but it will not be Reiki energy.
After receiving the attunement, you learn to replenish yourself with this vital life force and boost your immune system by placing your hands over the seven main energies centre in your body. You learn how to clear energy blockages, you also learn how to stimulate and balance the endocrine (hormonal) system.
Reiki addresses physical, mental, emotional and energetic imbalances. Reiki promotes personal & spiritual growth, expands consciousness and stimulates intuitive, spiritual and creative Awareness.
We include in our workshops (weather permitting) a walk in the woodland, we give you a chance to sit near the river, and enjoy the warmth and vibrant energy of an outside log fire. We show you how you can consciously " tune in" with the energies of nature to regain your own natural balance.
Reiki is easy to learn, no previous knowledge or training is required to attend the Reiki 1 workshop. Once Reiki is activated by the attunement process everyone is able to radiate this gentle, nurturing, unpolarised energy, regardless of age. Experience or background.
